Miroslava Vítková

Miroslava Vítková

was born in 1968 in Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic. She liked to draw and the idea of being an illustrator her whole childhood, but she continued her family tradition, graduated from the Palacky University in Olomouc with a focus on pedagogy, psychology and school management and became a teacher.

For several years she had been involved in project teaching and creating projects for primary schools.  Later she worked as a senior educator at a Youth Offender Institution. After moving to the UK she works at preschools where she returned to drawing and the idea of being an illustrator.
